Keyboard Failure
I just built myself a new box, and it appeared to be working fine. It booted fine, went into the BIOS, and everything looked ok. I then tried to boot from a Debian installation CD, and it did not work. I had the boot order set right, but for some reason the CD would not boot. I decided to try adding a different CD-ROM, so I installed one. I then turned the computer on, and noticed that now the keyboard was not working at all. Not only could I not hit DEL to enter the BIOS, but I also couldn't even turn caps/num/scoll lock on and off. I then tested a known working keyboard on the machine, and that one didn't work either. The keyboard was previously working fine, and it is brand new. Any ideas what may have gone wrong? Every single component of the PC except for the CD-ROM is brand new.
