Kernel 2.6 direct IDE Cd burning


I have heard that in kernel 2.6 you dont need to setup scsi emulation. How true is this and how well does it work? Does cd-record support this feature?

Yup, it works.

Grab a recent copy of cdrecord and you should be laughing.
