Kein Sound nach ALSA Konfiguration unter Suse Linux 10.0

Hi,

ich bin Linux-Beginner und habe Suse Linux 10.0 OSS 64 bit auf einem neuen Rechner installiert. Nachdem es Probleme mit den onboard-Chips (nForce 410 MPC und Realtek ALC850)gab, habe ich eine Vivanco-Soundkarte mit den C-Media Chipset CMI 8378 und CMI 8338 installiert.
Unter Yast2 wurde die Soundkartezuerst erkannt und ich konnte die Soundkarte konfigurieren.

Nach dem run von alsaconf wurde die Soundkarte unter ALSA eingebunden, der Soundtest lief gut und die Konfiguration wurde mit "have a lot of fun" abgeschlossen.

Nach dem Booten wurde jedoch Kmix nicht mehr gefunden unter Yast2 konnte die Soundkarte nicht mehr konfiguriert (1. Souncard ohne Anzahl, 2. CMI8378... nicht konfiguriert)werden, der Soundserver wurde nur noch bis 90 % gestartet und die Audioprogramme laufen auch nicht. Bei Karaoke erscheint immer noch die Fehlermeldung, dass dev/sequencer nicht verwendet werden kann,weil wahrscheinlich ein anderes Programm darauf zugreift.
In modprob.conf gibt es auch keinen Eintrag zu ALSA oder OSS.
Systemklänge sind auch nicht mehr zu hören.
Wenn im kontrollzentrum unter Sound ALSA deaktiviert wird und dafür das automatische Feststellen, werden zwar Systemklänge wiedergegeben, der Rest funktioniert aber auch nicht.
So funny finde ich das nicht, da ich schon seit Tagen versucht habe, Sound aus dem Betriebssystem zu locken.

In Alsa_Project.org, kde.org, arts-project.org hatte ich bislnag noch nichts Brauchbares zu dem Problem gefunden.

Hat jemand eine Idee? Wäre schön, wen das Problem ohne das Kompilieren aller notwendiger Kernels zu lösen ist.
