I'm using the Nforce3 chipset a Shuttle SN85G AMD 64 Kernel 2.6bla bla bla.
First install went fine but was standard no compilers and such.. So did a advanced install to include all those packages.
Now the sound is popping and driving me nuts had to disable it but I'd like to get it back. Has anyone else had this issue on a Nforce3 with ALSA using the nvaudio module?

I noticed the same thing with my A7N8X-Deluxe, but only with certain players and media types. MPlayer does fine, but Xmms doesn't. Weird eh? If anyone knows what causes this please point us in the right direction. I suspect it is something related to the ALSA driver and the Nforce line of soundcards. I will check the changelog and see if I spot anything relevant.
