ipw2100 & frequency

Hello,

I have the following problem:

[root@localhost user]# modprobe ipw2100
[root@localhost user]# iwconfig eth1 mode monitor
[root@localhost user]# iwconfig eth1 channel 11
Error for wireless request "Set Frequency" (8B04) :
    SET failed on device eth1 ; Operation not supported.
[root@localhost user]#

I'm running FC4 while my firmware and ipw2100 versions are:

version:        1.1.0
srcversion:     FB3586AD6FEFEB47F869D1D

[root@localhost /]# lspci |grep less
02:02.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter (rev 04)

I think the module forks because iwlist eth1 scan works fine.

Any hints?

try,

iwconfig eth1 mode monitor channel 11
