Have verified with MD5SUM under both Windows and Linux. Copying files to/from my Iomega 80gb external USB HDD changes the file's MD5 sum. File size is unchanged. USB HDD is FAT32 formated. Was using to store my ISOs, which now all appear to be bad.
Perhaps the filesystem is corrupted, try running dosfsck on the partition and see if it nags about errors. If it can fix them all no more errors should occur, or else something worse is wrong with the drive.
