Install from external Drive

I try to install Mandrake 10.0 on a Samsung Q20 notebook with an external CD-ROM drive using a firewire port.

The boot start but after a while the message appears "No CD-ROM drive found".
Than a selection of drivers are offered of which ohci1394.ko seems to be the right choice. Selecting the driver it asks for "Parameter to give to the kernel". Does anybody know the right parameters?

You probably do not need any extra parameters.

Try without and see what happens.

Michaelk, I tried that first. It just says "no CD-ROM drive found". Definitly wants parameters.
