I am not able to install my ati radeon 9250

I have a 9200, 9600XT and 9700Pro, all have worked at various times from the basic SuSE 10 Kernel up to 2.6.15 with SuSE 10.0.

You DO NOT have to use the ENTIRE old xorg.conf. You just need to edit a small part of it to allow the mode you want to run, that's it. don't just overwrite it with the old file, use the new xorg.conf with a few lines added from the old one for display mode.

Believe me, I had tried almost all the possible combinations. I have followed several tutorials for the installation of this card, I have changed the linux distribution through debian-ubuntu-fedora-suse and I have followed the instructions from the ATI support web page. It was not possible. I do not know which is the problem but I can't with this card. Probably I will move to Nvidia
