HW problems

I have a Gigabyte 7n400pro2 with Nforce2.
I have problems with th Hd becouse i use them in SATA and Suse 9.0 recognize them as PIO hd's...
So all the sistem works not bad...worse!

What can i do...i downloaded the Nvidia drivers but they're only 50kb and when i try installing with sax2 the programm doesn't show any installing package...

Someone can help me?

Is this about homework problems or hard drive problems? Or is it homework problems because of hard drive problems?

sorry but i do not understand what you mean with homework problems.
But i can tell you that the HD's works fine under windows.

So i can exclude that there's a Hd problem.

oh, my bad, I misread it. It was late last night, and I thought HW was homework (hausaufgaben auf Deustch), not hardware. Sorry

No.
There's no HW problem.
In fact i have 1 ATA133 HD with the convert to SATA and on it i was able to put DMA133.
But if i do the same with the pure SATA i have linux crashes...
