Dunno if this applies for DL360 as well, but on DL380s G6, G7 and G8 (If I remember right) there is a version where RHEL5/CentOS5 doesn't come with the right drivers for the RAID controller. I'm not sure which exact RAID controllers these were, I've been told there is a cheap version and a "pro" version, where it's the cheap version RHEL5/CentOS5 lacks the drivers for.
Sorry of not being too helpful, but maybe you could google for some compatibility lists.
