I don't know what's an HP i5 (perhaps Intel core i5?), but if the PC is named HP-Compaq-8100-Elite-SFF-PC 64 bit, the best architecture is amd64.

i386 would work but limits the PC to 4GB RAM.

The most fitting is the X86_64 image. The i386 will work but may be a 32-bit image, which will limit your options and resources on 64-bit hardware. Check the README files and information at the download site to be sure.

Yes, intel core i5.

I GOT THE NAME VIA TERMINAL COMMAND LSPCI AND ADDED THAT IT IS 64 BIT.

Thanks AMD64.

For a while some time back we used to suggest that one consider a 32 bit version over 64 bit. Now it is uncommon for any true capable 64 bit system to have a suggestion of other than 64 bit. The apps all work well now I'd think. I'd try the 64 bit version first.

There was a time when a 64bit processor could have been in a less than 64 bit motherboard.
