HP f4280 all-in-one on PClinuxos

Trying to figure out why my printer stopped working. I thought it might be a usb problem, but when I moved it to another machine and reinstalled, I have the same problem. I can configure the printer and queue up jobs. I see cups starting gs, but nothing going to the printer. I've installed the latest packages from hp. Used to work. Any ideas?

Thanks

Did you run hp-setup as root?
Also try hp-check and see what that output gives you. It will also create a log in your /home directory. That may give you some clue as to what is going on.

I've got some sort of a hardware problem. I'm seeing to think it's sending the job to the printer, but when I look at the HP Device Monitor output, I get the message "Device Communication Error" with a code of 5012. I was guessing I had some sort of hardware problem, so I replaced the cable. It still senses the printer and configures correctly, just doesn't print - don't really see foomatic processing on the 'top' output like I normally do.
