PCLinuxOS

Hi,

Having problems installing PCLinuxOS onto my hard drive. It goes through the 6 stages of installation then asks to reboot. Upon rebooting to the hard drive, all that I get is a screen full of number 9. I think that it could be something to do with the boot loader, but I'm not sure. Any suggestions?

Cheers

Jason

Yep, I would say it has everything to do with the bootloader. Check the config file for whichever bootloader you're using and make sure the drive paths are correct.

If you want to post it here we can maybe spot the problem.

Also, did you install the bootloader to the MBR?
