how to make a linux box into an ext. 1394 drive

Hi, my first post here.

I have a Linux box running kernel 2.6.9. I want to set this Linux box into an external 1394 drive which I can access it from a Windows PC through firewire connection.

In another word, I want to mount the Linux internal drive as a SBP2 driver on another machine. I'd appreciate if anybody can give me a hint.

Are you saying you want a RUNNING linux box to appear as a firewire hard drive to windows?

I don't think that's possible. You could connect them via IP over 1394 or something similar, but I doubt you can just make a plug and play drive... Would you just be connecting firewire ports to each other? Then you'd need some sort of software to handle that...
