I've searched on the forum but didnt find the exact instructions on how to do so. I've put the ethernet card specs in my modules.conf and rc.modules files but still no luck. My card is a 3com etherlink 3c905b.
Is it sarcasm? For the distros in order they appear in your profile:
1) Win2k - have no idea
2) HP-UX - have no idea but the startup scripts would be the starting point along with /etc
3) modprobe and /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1
If you want a real answer you should re-concider your attitude and understanding of what these forums are about - it is not your tech support you are getting from a vendor, people here ... why am I wasting the time read THE RULES
neo...modules.conf and rc.modules files r not in win2k. I thought i put enough info there for someone to help. I have already got it fixed up and goin and i know this thread is old but i thought a reply would be a lil faster than it was. My attitude is fine...i just think u think ur a god here just cuz of ur post count and think ur a boss and make urself look cool by tellin people to understand and read the rules. I know since i have a total of 3 posts now i'm gonna get flamed but oh well...i just hate it when people tell me to read the rules when i havent done anything wrong. and cmon...take a lil sarcasm. dont be so uptight.
