Ethernet Adapter

I downloaded the RPM from Broadcom for my adapter. I messed around with it a little bit within KDE and at the command line and can't seem to get 'RPM' to work?

Any suggestions?

you cant make the rpm install? what command have you tried?
and what distro are you running?

i'm running a gentoo linux system on my laptop, exactly the last release, I couldn't have been succesfull with the smc2635w in this distro, i've instaled it on a knoppix-hd-installed but i'm just with gentoo and i've spent too many hours trying to get succes, so i will be very gratefull if anybody could tell me the steps for install it on gentoo, thanks before ... trast
