how to configure creative live 24bit sound card in Ubuntu 11.04

i am ahmed from kuwait using ubuntu 11.04 last one week. having 5.1 logitec speaker system wish to configure it properly..any help thanks in advance guys..

Hi and Welcome to LQ!
It's always a good idea to search LQ and then the entire web (googling) to find your answer. I found this after 10 seconds.

I then checked my system and found this:

/usr/share/alsa/cards/CA0106.conf

So your system should be able to find your card unless 11.04 is really out of date. I'm using the 3.0-4.dmz.1-liquorix-amd64 kernel.
