how to change ethernet link speed?

hi

i want to change my ethernet link speed from 100 Full duplex to 10 Full duplex.
im using a rtl8139 10/100 Mbps ethernet .

why i want to change my link speed? its because im experiencing a problem connecting to my LAN. my cable is 30-40 meters from my computer connected to a swith which also 2 meter connected to a router. ut when i connect near my hub/switch i can access my LAN.

anyone knows?
