tI have a problem right now (besides the fact that I own a 750MHz Duron with a GeForce 2MX 32MB - give me some money and I will upgrade it) :
My X after a few hours of working fine just starts to flicker. My screen goes blank and if I press a key or move
mouse it comes back to normal, but only for a second and then geos back to black. What could this be?
Right now I am doing an upgrade (restricted connection/read slow) and I takes forever so I can't startx again(using gnome-apt). And I saw a few days ago a thread about getting packages from the testing distro with some kind of parameters so that apt-get(s) preferablly packs from the stable realease. Anyone knows something about this?

Sounds like overheating. Is it summer where you are? I had one of those cards and you could fry a (small) egg on it after a few hours.
The damn cooler always makes problems!! Doesn't start always. I tried to put some oil there so it would work fine, but no luck.
I have to kick-start it by hand sometimes.
I will look into it if it does it again.
I made an upgrade to Sarge and I like Gnome 2, although it had some problems in converting the config files.
Anyone, help.
I will post here the error messages I get once I get home.
Ah, this seems a lot low to me.. lol, I'm running a PIII 1.1Ghz with a Geforce 440, 512 DDR ram with 32DDR video ram.
My X Resolution is 1600x1200 with 24bit color.
19606 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3921.200 FPS

29911 frames in 5.0 seconds = 5982.200 FPS
33631 frames in 5.0 seconds = 6726.200 FPS
