How do you uninstall the nvsound driver?

It appears my computer is using the nvidiadriver, nvsound (an OSS driver) since I installed the NFORCE driver from nVidia. It seems I shouldn't have installed this driver, cause it is worse than the snd-intel8x0 driver.

How do I revert these changes and go back to the previous driver, which should support both OSS and ALSA?

sh NFORCE-Linux-x86-1.0-0301-pkg1.run --uninstall
Uninstall the currently installed NVIDIA driver.
