Help! all usb ports disabled...

This is driving me nuts.

It all started when I absent-mindedly went down for reboot while a print job was in progress. The job stopped, and I couldn't print anymore. Looked at the configuration of the default printer (a Lexmark z515, if it matters), but everything seemed fine. Re-installed the print driver and got the message to check and make sure the wire was hooked in correctly. Did that. Fine. Tried a different port. Same problem. Tried an flash drive in another port -- not working. It now seems that all my usb ports are shut down.

I'm running Fedora Core 1 with everything as up to date as it can be. Never, ever had a problem like this before.

Help! What do I do?

Look at the output of the dmesg command. Look at all of the USB messages. Does it show any errors.

Make sure all of the USB modules are still loading. Look at the output of the lsmod command.
