Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Hardware Sensors

I have all i2c modules enabled in my kernel, ran sensors-detect and accepted the default values. I've never had a problem doing this, I still don't think I do. However .....

sensors gives me the following output

w83627hf-isa-0290
Adapter: ISA adapter
VCore 1: +1.62 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +2.40 V)
VCore 2: +4.08 V (min = +2.18 V, max = +2.40 V)
+3.3V: +3.22 V (min = +3.14 V, max = +3.47 V)

Question #1 How can I find out what temp1, temp2, and temp3 are? I know what the fans are.

Question #2 Should I be concerned about what seems to be my CPU temp? I have a front fan a rear fan, back and bottom fans on the P/S and an AMD cpu fan. I know the AMD cpu fan isn't the greatest but ...

Yes it's an nVidia chipset, it is a soltek motherboard. The heatsink is hot to the touch, but does not cause enough pain to remove my hand from it, the heat generated from the rear fan and the P/S seems normal. Any insight to this would be great. I am in the process of finding a manual for this motherboard as I cannot find any model number on the board physically.

Temp 2 is probably the CPU, it's the hottest thing on the system. I would guess the lowest is air temp measured in your case and the middle temp is probably the system temp on the m/board.

You should be able to match the temps with your bios readout at bootup.
