hardware desision


I am running fedora 7 and im looking for a dial up modem for connecting to the internet and am trying to find a modem that is compatible any help would be appreciated thanks to those who respond

The LQ HCL (http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/index.php/cat/121) or any other HCL would be your first stop. Avoid stuff that's too cheap to be true and hasn't got it's own processor (aka Winmodem). See http://www.linmodems.org/ for what to avoid.
