Getting on-board RAID working?

Does anyone know how i can get my Promise RAID controller (20276) working, or at least a command to see if it is working? There are two cd drives on it atm and not sure how to get them mounted.

Thanks

The 20276 IDE controller is supported in Linux 2.4.19 and later. Type uname -r to see what version you're running.
I believe the driver is pdc202xx_new.

just try "fdisk -l" or go type "hwbrowser" in terminal and check if your hard disk's parition is under hard drive section.
