Geforce fx 5200 question

This is probably a very strange question, but I thought I would ask it anyway;

I just got RedHat 9 and installed it on my 20GB slave drive with Windows 2000 running my master drive. Is there a way to install the new nvidia drivers to RedHat from Windows 2000?

If you mean "Can I use the windows driver in Linux "
The answer is... No.

If you want the latest Nvidia drivers for Linux,
go to the Nvidia website and download the newest one for Linux.

Not at all what I was asking really. The situation is that I've downloaded the most recent linux drivers for my fx 5200 card, but I was wondering if I could install them onto RedHat (which is on my linux drive) from Windows 2000.

Oh... ... Sorry, I completely misunderstood your post.

You can copy the driver from windows to Linux using Explore2fs.
http://uranus.it.swin.edu.au/~jn/linux/explore2fs.htm

However, in order to install it, you will have to be in Linux.

Thanks for the utility link. Now I just have to go through the fun of setting up a user and all that jazz in text mode.

and now we do the dance of joy.
