Flashing DVD drive

Hello,

I have a Sony DW-Q120A DVD DL drive. Unfortunately I did not know it was region protected when I bought it. It works well for RC1 DVDs but I need to disable its region protection. I have VMware but the utility to flash it doesnt work in VMware, it just complains about DMA not being enabled, which it is.

Is there any was to flash my drive in Linux ?

Thanks
Christopher

Does your program work with WINE? If so, you can just run it through WINE and flash the drive that way.
