Final step in getting a bluetooth keyboard to operate?

Hello. I am trying to get an iPazzport bluetooth mini keyboard/mouse to work with a pcDuino single-board computer running lubuntu.

It appears to be properly connected and paired, but pressing the keyboard buttons and using the touchpad for the mouse has no effect. Is there a final step needed to get the linux system to recognize the bluetooth mouse/keyboard?

I have run "sudo apt-get install gnome-bluetooth", and run "bluetooth-wizard", which generated a PIN and responded that the device successfully paired.

If I run "lsusb" in the terminal, it shows the bluetooth dongle "(Bus 003 Device 004: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)".

The bluetooth icon is visible in the lower right corner of the desktop, and when I click on it, "bluetooth iPazzport" is listed under devices. If I hold the mouse over the iPazzport listing in the bluetooth menu, a submenu appears showing "connected".

Obviously, the standard USB wired keyboard/mouse are working properly on the system, but the bluetooth keyboard/mouse are doing nothing. (The bluetooth keyboard/mouse works perfectly when I pair it with an android phone, so it is clearly not defective.)

Am I missing a final step in getting the bluetooth device to work?

Thank you much!

Corded keyboard/mouse does work

Yes, I have a standard USB keyboard and mouse attached to the pcDuino, and that works perfectly. I have tried detatching them, so the bluetooth device would be the only keyboard/mouse, but it still has no effect, despite apparently being connected successfully.

I am wondering if there is some mechanism in Linux to specify keyboard/mouse inputs that should be live.

Thanks.

Does anyone know if there is something removed in Lubuntu from the main Ubuntu (since Lubuntu is a lightweight version of Ubuntu) that would prevent this bluetooth keyboard from working?

The bluetooth keyboard works perfectly on my Ubuntu laptop, using the same gnome-bluetooth package (which is apparently automatically included on the full Ubuntu).

This is for an interactive art installation, so a wired keyboard is not practical.

Thank you!

Did you input the PIN when asked? Even though it would not show as it is a keyboard.
