Smile Taken the final step, moved away permanently from Microsoft!

Well just wanted to share the good news with you all, on Windows 10 release day I took the plunge and put Linux (Fedora 22) on my laptop and main desktop PCs after being a Windows power user for 20 years.

I had been a beta tester for Windows 10 and didnt really like the way it was going, if only people actually read the Eula they might feel the same!

I had been installing Linux on and off for the last 10 years, but nothing ever worked properly hardware wise, I am soo happy to see how much the Linux Kernel has matured and pleased to say everything works great these days, i have even managed to install the Nvidia Proprietary drivers!

I have attended and online course over at EDX I think it was, was a eye opener just how powerful Linux is, and ive stuck with it for a week soo far and I can honestly say I am loving it! The learning, the beautiful KDE Plasma Desktop, the amount of tweaking and configuring you can do as well.

I never thought I would enjoy Linux this much, but it really is a breath of fresh air to use and ive even been looking at CHROOTs which looks an amazing feature!!

Glad to be here and look forward to many years of being a Nix user finally

Very nice, Ricky. I, too, have my concerns about Windows 10, though I might try it in the name of science.

Windows 10 is designed as an invasion to your privacy. It wants to know EVERYTHING about you. Your love life, How much money you earn, how much sex you're having each week and the lists goes on and on........

Even though winXP has it own private policy issues, it isn't as worse as win10. I'd rather use an outdated windows XP than win10 any day.

@LBelkin- that's easy to fix. Just don't talk about your love life while using Windows 10.

Better yet, don't have sex in a room where win10 resides, the webcam and mic might record you

BTW folks, don't take what I am saying seriously. I'm just making humor of win10's new intrusive private privacy policy.
