Question Fan won't stop on VIA Artigo A1100 w/ SL 6.2

I have Scientific Linux 6.2 running on my VIA Artigo A1100 pico-ITX system. The main problem is that the system fan stays at maximum even when the system is idle. Maybe this is a power management issue?

Can anyone help with this? Is there some setting I can change to make the fan speed adjust depending on actual load??

fan, powermanagement
