Ethernet Problem

Hi,

I am running a Fedora core 5. I have two NIC cards installed out of which one which is motherbord which got detected and working fine. But the second card, i am not able to configure.

When i give lspci i can see that it is there. I think the chipset is 3189D. But i could not install or find the drivers for this. Even i tried using ndiswrapper but in vain. Could anyone help me.

Regards
A.sendilnath

Try

ls /lib/modules/*your-kernel-version*/kernel/drivers/net

this will list the drivers your kernel support for networkcards. When you think you see the name of your networkcard not supported try:

modprobe *name-of-the-drive*

leave out the .o at the end of the files name.
