Hi all -
I'm sure I am missing something simple but when I print on my network attached Epson Workforce 520 from mt Fedora 15 laptop it only print tons of blank pages with no text.

I tried temporarily disabling SELinux and the firewall with no luck.

I intalled the printer using the print-config-util program or something like that. the default printer intaller in Fedora

I tried using the suggested Gutenprint driver and the driver on linuxprinting.org.

I have the output from the Printer Troubleshooting tool but it seems to be too long to post. I'll pu thte beginning and let me know if there is anything else that would be useful. Any thoughts or suggestions anyone?

mmm well, to me it sounds like the driver (ppd) is not working the way it should.
You may want try with another one.

What are you trying yo print?

I posted a similar problem using a Brother HL2140 printer and USB connection.

It seems that the USB interface drives a printer bios chip that is the same across several vendors.

My printer on the same computer works fine with Scientific Linux 6.1

I parted ways with too much Gnome 3 frustration, but that's another topic. I'm sure I made a mistake along the way somewhere if no one else is experiencing this.
