Does the Epson Stylus Photo R210 printer work under Linux

I am looking at buying the EPSON STYLUS PHOTO R210 printer which is how it is branded in Australia. I want it so my wife can print photograph like pictures for her scrap booking.
I only found one reference to it at LQ but it was someone who was having problems getting it to work with Mandrake. I use Debian testing, 2.6.7 kernel.
I have serached linuxprinting but can't see any mention of the R210. Perhaps it is known as a different model in other countries.
Can anyone confirm it will work for me?

There's a page on Linuxprinting for the R200, which I'm pretty sure is the same machine. Uses the gimp-print driver, but so far has only basic support

Any success? I too have this printer, but I can't work out how to select A4 paper size (I'm using Knoppix/Debian 2.6 kernal, with Cups)

Sorry dukbilt, but I was only looking and haven't yet purchased any printer, so I can't help you with that query.
