Hello people,
I have Lucent Winmodem and I found driver for it on the net and I've installed it, but when I use pppd it dials but when it needs to connect it fails. Also, during the installation of the driver I caugth the message that I need to have DEFAULT lines in my /etc/modules.conf and that line is :
cat /tmp/ltmodem/tmpfile

Does anybody have idea?

Thanks, Djony!

P.S. How can I change dialing from tone to pulse in WVdial?

tone to pulse dialing

You make a change in /etc/wvdial.conf:

Find the option: Dial Command = ATDT
And change it to: Dial Command = ATDP
