Device /dev/dsp can't be opened...
Whenever I start KDE I get:
Sound server informational message:
Error while initializing the sound driver:
device /dev/dsp can't be opened (Resource temporarily unavailable)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device.
I'm using the built-in kernel sound drivers for an onboard VIA soundchip (AC97 audio), and at startup the driver is loaded fine, but it won't work in KDE.
Could someone who knows what this means please help me out w/ this?
