DELL 2950 installation issue

Hello, we have strange problem with installation of RedHat ES on DELL 2950. As you know maybe, this server comes with four USB ports only, no serial od PS/2 ports are mounted. So, if you plug USB keyboard or mouse, you can do everything, making BIOS changes configure RAID etc. But problem occurs, when we put RH installation CD in drive, boot and type ENTER for normal boot. Vmlinuz will load normally, but when first screen of Anaconda (check installation media) is dispalyed, USB keyboard is not working. Anaconda wait for input (Check or Skip installation media) but if keyboard is not working, we can do nothing. We try to found similiar problem solution, but helpline of DELL is unusable (standard) and forums don't mentioned this problem.

We don't want to use Utility management disk from DELL, due to they uses LVM and ext3 filesystem only and we have to use another filesystem and no LVM, too .

Can you guess and help us ?
Thank you.

Haven't done RH on the 2950. Asked a co-worker who has done both Windoze and VMWare on the 2950. He said he didn't require any special steps to get the either going. VMWare is basically Linux so not sure what the issue is.

I do recall they made some mention of a KVM they used that had some odd issues with the way it dealt with USB so they made sure to get the correct USB dongle from the maker (Raritan). You're not using a KVM to do this are you? If so is there a way you can directly use the USB keyboard on the server rather than via KVM?
