DCL9A+ monitor

I was about to purchase a DCL9A+ monitor when I found a posting on the internet saying that the poster could not make it work with linux. Are some monitors incompatible with linux? I thought that any monitor that works with Windows would work with linux.

I find puntjuh's information helpful. I would like further assurance before spending a couple of hundred dollars. Given that I discovered this monitor in Wal-Mart, and read a lot of positive reviews on the internet, there should be a lot of them in use.

At Wal-Mart, the brand name is DCLCD. The manufacturer is Spectre. It is an LCD monitor.

I bought the DCL9A+ monitor. Both pclinuxos and ubuntu recognized it as soon as it was connected. It was not a problem.
