CUPS Printing

I have installed Slackware 9.1 and setup my printer over CUPS on port 631. When I print test page everything is fine, but I use Open Office or Abi Word I can not make my printer work as if these programs don't detect it. I opened the printer control in Control Center and printer is there. What should I do?

Uninstall LPRNG using pkgtool and reinstall cups. This will fix all the links. What is happening to you is that LPRNG and CUPS are running at the same time, but all the lp commands are linked into LPRNG
