Creative Live! Cam Notebook Pro not working with Mandriva 2006

I am trying to set up Skype and webcam, but I am having soe problems. It doesn't look like the driver for the webcam is loaded. If I do lsusb, I get:
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 041e:4051 Creative Technology, Ltd
so it must know it's connected.
However, if I do a dmesg on Creative, I don't get anything back. I have loaded a few other drivers that has worked for others, but it doesn't work for me. I installed camorama, gv4l, and gqcam and when I start them, I get a message that it could not connect to /dev/video0. I don't have a /dev/video0...

I also installed 'spca', but it still doesn't work.

I also tried installing ov51x-jpeg since this driver seems to work for some. When I do a make, I get this message:
\make -C /lib/modules/2.6.12-12mdk/build M=/home/eikeland/Download/ov51x-jpeg-1.5.1 modules
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.12-12mdk'

make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.12-12mdk'
make: *** [all] Error 2

There is a getjpeg executable file and if I run it, I get this again:
Could not open device /dev/video

I also did this (got this from the link where I got the driver from):
#mknod /dev/video0 c 81 0
#chmod 666 /dev/video0
#ln -s /dev/video0 /dev/video

At least I have a video device now, but since I don't have a driver (oc51x), I can't load the module.

Any suggestions?
