Configuring D-Link DWL-G650 any verison of linux

I have a d-link airplus xtreme-G wireless card (DWL-G650). I've tried installing it with Redhat 9, Fedora Core 1, Fedora Core 2, and Gentoo. I haven't found a good post that explains it step by step and that even works. I'm semi familur not like super linux person but like i ran gentoo all summer last year. I'm just looking for someone that has this working and could explain it.

The hardware version is B2
and the Firmware is 2.20

I think it uses the pcmcia_cs but I don't know. Any help would be greatly appriciated!

Its either an atheros or PrismGT card, probably atheros, first, what's the output of:

With the card in there. Also, its a cardbus card, so its not really using pcmcia, its directly part of the pci subsystem when its loaded.
