Ok, I've been running Debian, and each day I've been getting one issue resolved and now the only major issue I am facing with it is my CD Burner. It's an IDE drive, and I have no problem mounting it (it is located at /dev/hdb). I assumed a simple cdrecord -scanbus would give me the correct information I need to burn stuff, but apparently I was wrong.

I went back and enabled SCSI emulation, but I still can seem to get cdrecord to "see" it. This is probably a simple issue, but any insight and/or links would be apperciated on how to get this durn thing workin!

what have you actually done to enable scsi?

heh... that was my problem... I'm not passing any kernel parameters in lilo!!

Thanks anyway... I've kind of gotten it figured out now after locating a few docs on it.
