Compaq ProLiant DL380 (G1) and Linux???

I just got a used Compaq ProLiant GL380 (G1) with 2x PIII-733 Mhz. I am having serious problems installing linux.

I managed to figure that pressing F9 at boot will boot from the CD, and got into an SuSE install. It correctly saw the 3x 1.82 Gb RAID5 drives as 30-something Gb. I installed, rebooted, and booted into the OS after installation.

Everything worked fine, except eth0 wasn't configured right, and the card that should have been eth1 wasn't seen.

Now, I shutdown the system last night, I come back this evening and boot, it just says "OS Not Loaded" or something like that. Booting to the SuSE 10.1 CD and selecting "Boot from Hard Drive" doesn't help either.

What do I do? How do I find out whatever special information for this machine there is?
