Compaq Presario V5233 Sound in OpenSUSE

Hi. I've got OpenSUSE 10.2 with a Compaq Presario V5233 notebook. The problem is, the sound volume is too low. Is it something to do with the driver or hardware or what? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Are you using alsa? If yes, try check the alsamixer. Increase volumes on it especially pcm.

Yes, I am. And I've already tried that. The volume for all the devices are set to full. Anything else?
