Question Changing the monitor hardware from the terminal screen?

Hi

I have installed Mandrake 9 on my laptop successfully. However I changed the default monitor hardware and now can't get back into the gui to change it back. I do get to the terminal through.

Is there a way of changing the monitor hardware from the terminal screen? If so please give full details as I am just starting out.

Thanks

Yes. Log in as root and execute /usr/sbin/XFdrake

Hope that helps.
