Post changing Background in Terminal, but how ?

hi,

I would like to change background in Consol but not with using what we have with right klick in mouse. I mean if it is possible to use anything as colour or wall-picture as background under Terminal.

Thanks

Emin.

I'm not sure if you are asking for this but, In gnome terminal configuration->preferences and you can choose a pixmap for the background.

Use Eterm or even better Aterm and you can specify a image, or a whole directory of images to be set as background. I can't help with Konsole, never used it...

KONSOLE:
If you're running KDE3+ (I can't remember about KDE2) then you should open the konsole, go to the config menu (right-click, settings --> configure konsole). Under the Schema tab go to the bit about the background and set the image as you wish. Save it under a new name, and close the config menu. Then you need to go to settings --> schema and select your new scheme.

Hope this helps.

Ooh... don't forget to 'save settings' otherwise when you next start a konsole it won't be right.
