cannot configure laptop monitor with suse 9.1

every time i start up suse 9.1 i get the following message pop up:

"Your monitor didnt report its X- and Y- size, this might cause display problems like unreadable fonts.

Do you want to configure your monitor geometry manually?"

because i am using a laptop i dont know specifically what monitor i have got. my laptop is a HP pavillion ze4500 so what i have done is selected a monitor close to the spec of what i know it is i.e. 1024x768 60Hz from the HP group but i still get the pop up every time i start suse. i have tried to select different monitors but i still get the same problem. i dont seem to be having any display problems so how do i stop it popping up when i boot up?

Try to set the screen dimensions in mm:

Yast-> Hardware-> Graphics Card and Monitor-> 'Change'-> 'Monitor'-> 'Change Configuration'-> 'Properties'-> select 'Expert' tab-> set 'Display size'
