can't get internal speakers to work


ubuntu 10.04 netbook / dell duo
external speaker jack works fine but i can not get the internal speakers to work at all
i have followed all the sound trouble shooting links i could find but nuthing works so far
any ideas?

Have you checked to see if your internal speakers are blown?

Try to capitalize your words and spell properly too
