Bad sound :(

Okay,

I took away my Audigy 2 from my computer and started to use the integrated driver on my DFI LANPARTY Ultra-D motherboard. I use now the intel0x8 driver for it in ALSA but that sounds horrible. It's probably caused by the driver as the same mp3's in windows sound as they should. For example flac files ripped from CD sound the same as low quality mp3's.

Is there any better driver available for the DFI LANPARTY Ultra-D's integrated soundcard?

Is it an nForce chipset? If so use the official drivers from Nvidia, otherwise you could open alsamixer and try turning the PCM volume down to like 88%.
