automount dvd-rw, usb drives?

I upgraded my vlos box to 1.3.0.1-rc2. It works perfectly after a few teaks here and there but it seems to have lost the automount of cd, dvds and usb drives that the previous versions had. It is annoying having to mount manually every cd or usb from shell. I read something about supermount and try ivman but it didnt work. Any suggestions??
