Question ATi video card and CPU

hi all!

when i do 'cat /proc/mtrr' it shows me:

reg00: base=0x00000000 ( 0MB), size=1024MB: write-back, count=1
reg01: base=0xc0000000 (3072MB), size= 128MB: write-combining, count=1

0xc0000000 is my ATi video card, which has 256 MB actually. am i wrong when i say that 128 MB are underutilized? if yes, is there any thing i can do to fix it?
my distro is slackware 10.2 kernel 2.4.32 and video card ati radeon x 600 pro.

one more question : ). when i am comiling a kernel, if i have intel pentium 4 with ht technology, shoul i choose option 'CONFIG_MPENTIUM4'? per default option 'CONFIG_M486=y' is marked with yes.

If you have A P4 with HT, you should use "config_mpentium4" and a smp kernel.
