ATi Radeon Mobility M7 LW - what does the 'M7 LW' mean?

I have an IBM Thinkpad T40(p?).
Both Xorg.0.log and lspci report the graphics chip as 'ATi Technologies Inc. Radeon Mobility M7 LW'.
Does this mean I have the Radeon Mobility 7500 or the Radeon Mobility 9000? The reason I ask is that it reports [Radeon Mobility 9000] but I've searched the web to find a definitive answer and found conflicting results, ie. M7 could be 7500 or it could be 9000. Have I got things confused? Can someone please help me?

Cheers

I have a T40 with the same chip - it's a 7500. Look to the far right of the lspci results, it should be displayed. Here's what I get
Code:
default@dhcppc1:~> /sbin/lspci | grep ATI
0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon Mobility M7 LW [Radeon Mobility 7500]
